In Loving Memory of Daniel Clyde Schwartz

March 22, 1961 – October 7, 2026

Daniel Clyde Schwartz, of Wray, Colorado, was born on March 22, 1961, to Harold and Virginia Schwartz and passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 65.

Dan was a devoted husband, proud father, loving grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a man who believed in hard work, valued his friendships, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His kindness, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and love for his family were among the qualities that made him so special to those who knew him.

In 2002, Dan started his own tire and service business, which he operated until 2022, when health concerns led to its closing. His dedication to his work reflected his determination, perseverance, and commitment to providing for his family.

Above all, Dan loved his boys, Scott and Aaron, and was so proud of the men they grew up to be. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Kassidy, Tinsley, and Kaysen. He took pride in their lives and accomplishments, and those moments spent cheering them on created memories his family will hold close to their hearts. Dan also enjoyed watching his beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Sheila; his sons, Scott and his wife, Crystal, and Aaron and his wife, Briann; and his five cherished grandchildren, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Kassidy, Tinsley, and Kaysen. He is also survived by his sister, Kandy Stoumbaugh; brothers, Fred Schwartz and Leland Stute; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Hankins and Chrissie Hankins; his nephews, Brent Like, Marvin Hankins, Charlie Stoumbaugh, Caleb Stoumbaugh, and Ryan Schwartz; his niece, Tamantha Stoumbaugh Sellers; his aunts, Delores Brunswick, Patricia Brown, June Sprenkle, and Marcia Kubat; numerous cousins; and countless friends.

Dan’s life was a testament to the importance of family, friendship, hard work, and helping others. He leaves behind a legacy of love and countless memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His family will forever treasure his love, his pride in his children and grandchildren, and the time they were blessed to share with him.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, the love Dan gave and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Dan’s faith in Jesus Christ was an important part of his life. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, and his family finds comfort in knowing that his eternal home is in Heaven. Though his passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of those who love him, they hold fast to the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. They look forward with hope and faith to the day they will be reunited with Dan in Heaven, where they will be together again for eternity.
